Is this the visual fidelity that we have the pleasure of looking forward to in the next generation of games? While tech demos aren't exactly the most accurate representations of full-length titles, they do help provide people with an idea of the bar that developers are setting for themselves.
For now, I can only give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I would be straight-up lying if I didn't say that I'm looking forward to what the future in the video game industry may bring as far as technological advances are concerned. The painstaking attention to detail in these various demonstrations below are each pretty stunning in their own right, causing the mind to contemplate just exactly how far games will go from here on both a graphical and interactive level. It's a mysterious and exciting prospect to wrap your brain around.
These next couple of years will surely prove interesting to say the least. And I simply cannot wait.
