Halo 4 release date revealed?

Rumors, rumors, rumors. Oh how misleading you can be sometimes. This time, however, it seems like you might be on to something.

The Verge is claiming that Halo 4 will be released on Tuesday, November 6. They also say that this announcement will be made official sometime today, specifically during tonight's airing of Conan O'Brien. Recent tweets made by Alison Stroll, the senior producer of 343 Industries, and the Microsoft spokesperson Major Nelson also confirm these reports.

Personally, I'm pretty excited about Halo 4. This change-up in developers may just be what Halo needs to be fresh and exciting again.

Update: This release date has officially been confirmed. Cue the trumpets and confetti.
