Dislike multiple pre-order bonuses? Well, Halo 4 has them anyways

And so the trend continues. It appears that Halo 4 will be offering several different armor skins, as well as some exclusive emblems and a new weapon skin depending on the retailer you pre-order the game from.

Honestly, is anyone really surprised by this, especially given how big of a release Halo 4 will be? While the variety of armors look quite interesting and are pretty different from the permutations of previous Halo games, I can't help but feel like I'm being swindled out of content that should be on the disk by default. One small pre-order bonus is fine, but several different ones all from different places? No matter where I pre-order the game from, I'm losing out on something. And even if they offer everything on the marketplace at a later date, it's still a rather confusing load of malarkey.

But hey, maybe that's just me and me alone, though I'm pretty sure that's not the case. I guess we all just have to get with the times.
