Wow, so I'm finally doing it.... A simple blog about me.

Hmm, this is weird, maybe even a little unnerving. Not that I'm expecting anyone to really care about me or my opinions about the video game medium, especially after observing the backlash various major video game reviewing outlets receive from the rabid community that may disagree with a single score bestowed upon a specific game. This blog is simply a way for me to express my opinion on the various games I play in my personal time, and since I already play games daily just for fun, I thought hey, why not write about them as well!

First though, I figured I might introduce myself, to give a sort of context for the reasons I'm creating this blog. My name is Justin Roberts, a graduate from art school, having received an associate degree in graphic design. Currently, I am trying to figure out what exactly I want to do in my life. I would really love to work in the video game industry, as I have been in love with video games since I was a young boy watching my older brother play, my bewildering eyes in awe over such a majestic means of entertainment. I love games, music, art, writing, and pretty much anything that requires creative thought and understanding.

To sum it all up, I think the video game medium is highly interesting, and this blog is simply an outlet for me to get my feelings across about the games that I play. Each review will critically observe each game that I play as factually and professionally as possible. Since funds are relatively limited right now, I will start reviewing games that have come out in the past couple of years, slowly catching up to more up to date releases. Also, the creation of this blog will provide me with more experience in writing and help me better understand the process that goes into reviewing and analyzing video games. It will be a fun challenge that I hope other people will enjoy, and if not, I'm happy enough to know that, at the very least, I will enjoy my time writing about games.
