Ever since reading about it back when it was released for iOS devices, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery has had me greatly intrigued. I mean, the amazing art style and fantastic soundtrack alone set a certain mystical tone for the game before you even get your hands on it. And now that the game has been released for the PC, I simply cannot wait to finally play this unique looking gem.
All I know about the game is that it's divided into 4 "sessions" and that it's an adventure game. That's it. That is literally all I know about the title. However, the less I know about this game, the better. I want to be completely surprised by it once I get the chance to play and experience it. Just watching one short trailer was enough to peak, and I mean greatly peak, my interest.
It's one of those rare cases where less is more. All of the art is made up of tiny pixels, and I'm assuming the game is all point-and-click on the PC, but that's what makes it so interesting. And the absorbing soundtrack is just the icing on the cake.
Once I do get the chance to play Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery, I will definitely write up a review for it.
